Challenge #75 - Rose Colours

Welcome back everyone and thank you for all the great entries in our last challenge.

This time, we have a colour challenge for you - Rose Colours

Guidelines: Use rose shades of red and /or pink. You may also use green leaf colours, black, white or cream and realistic colours for skin, fur and hair.

Please welcome our fabulous Guest Designer:

Hi, my name is Jill, and live in Southern Ontario, Canada with my husband, Michael, and our two cats. I have loved all kinds of crafts for as long as I can remember, and I discovered card making about four years ago when I was living in Montreal. I quickly became addicted to all the products and techniques, and my collection of supplies has been steadily growing ever since. I am really excited to be guest designing here at Inkspirational - they always have such fun challenges!
Please visit Jill's blog to see more of her work.

Here's some ideas from the DT:

We found Michele's card to be so cute! The soft colors are beautiful against the scene and the bunnies are so fun!

We love Margaret’s monochrome look and great interpretation of the challenge. Her use of the music and notes is just beautiful!

Challenge #74 - Designer's Choice - Ombré

Our new challenge has been chosen by our lovely Design Team member, Pia, and she has chosen the theme Ombré.

Guidelines: Ombré is when the colour is graduated in tone eg. a colour that fades from dark grey to light grey. Of course any colour can be used on the project.

First, please welcome our talented Guest Designer, Deepti .

Hi! I am from India and moved to Cleveland, Ohio after marrying my dear husband in 2011. My hobby used to be sketching prior to paper crafting. It all started with making some new year cards for family in 2013 which led me to Pinterest, to Paper crafting magazine and finally to the wonderful world of blogging... I have been hooked ever since. All the rest of my hobbies have taken a back seat.
My crafting style is CAS and what makes my cards unique is that I usually try to bring out some meaning into my designs. My recent craze is Distress inks. Besides, card making I often try my hands on canvas paintings, pastels and pencil sketches.
In my free time you will find me watching thriller series/ movies ;) you name it and I must have seen it. Thank you so much Inkspirational Challenges for having me over :)

Here is Deepti's project:

And here's some inspiration from our Design Team:

Our Inkspirational New Look

Latest challenge here.

So, have you noticed our new look? At Inkspirational we are all delighted to have been glammed up with a fresh and co-ordinated makeover.

The person responsible for this is our good friend Kylie Purtell .

Kylie was one of the original members of the Inkspirational DT and she is an expert at making watermarks, blog headers etc.

Here's what she says about herself:

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kylie and I am a craft and blog addict.

Now that my confession is out of the way, here is a little about myself. I started cardmaking and blogging in 2012 and love every minute of it. Three months after I started blogging (Kylie is Addicted to Stamps), I decided that I needed to create my own challenge blog so Addicted to Stamps and More was born. I have met so many wonderful people through that venture and formed friendships that will last a lifetime.

After making cards for a few months, I came to the realisation that Clean and Simple is my style. Why not create another challenge dedicated to CAS? So I did - Addicted to CAS ;) A few months ago, I felt the need to expand again so I created a craft forum called Happy Little Stampers - a place to chat, share and inspire fellow crafters. I love being part of the craft community.

I have now started up my own little design business creating watermarks, blog signatures and blog headers. My most recent creations were revamping the look of the Inkspirational blog. I had so much fun doing this! Please email on kyliepurtell@gmail.com if you would like to know a little more about this - you can see my designs HERE and testimonials from past clients HERE

The first 5 customers for 2015 will receive a 10% discount of the total invoice! Happy New Year!

Kylie, we at Inkspirational LOVE our new look. Thank you so much!

Challenge #73 - Word Prompt - Note

Happy New Year to you from all the team at Inkspirational!

You may notice that Inkspirational has a great new look for the new year, very kindly designed for us by Kylie Purtell . We will be doing a little feature on Kylie later in the week but meanwhile, if you would like her to design for you, contact her on kyliepurtell@gmail.com.

This week we have the word prompt 'note' that I hope will inkspire you to make a project and link up below.

But first, please welcome our fabulous Guest Designer:

Hi, I am Marika and I live in Northern Finland. My first paper crafting project was to make my wedding invitations a few years ago. Since then I’ve been paper crafting on and off but I was seriously hooked in last summer when I participated in Online Card Class. I really enjoy taking part to different kind of challenges since they are a good source of inspiration and they challenge you to make cards that are not necessarily in your comfort zone. Recently I have found the world of watercolours and I am totally and utterly lost in there - and I don’t mind at all.

Thank you Inkspirational for inviting me as your Guest Designer today. I am truly honoured. Thank you!
